Snow-covered mountain range in Ladakh at high altitude

Section 8 non-profit · Leh, Ladakh

Sustainable solutions for resilient mountain communities.

We work across energy, water, ecology, health and livelihoods to build net-zero, circular futures for the world’s most fragile high-altitude regions — grounded in local knowledge, strengthened by modern science.

Altitude we build for

Who we are

Ladakh is warming faster than the plains. We build what comes next.

SEEHWA Green Foundation is a Section 8 non-profit headquartered in Leh. We design and deliver practical systems for cold, remote, high-altitude communities — the places where conventional development models simply do not work.

Our work spans renewable energy and cold-climate HVAC, circular water and waste systems, ecosystem regeneration, climate-smart agriculture, last-mile healthcare and rural livelihoods. We treat these as one connected system, because in a mountain village they are.
